Kiss at Mohegan Sun

Deano and I headed north, deep in to the CT woods to check out one of the greatest rock bands of all time - KISS - at Mohegan Sun. The show was incredible - KISS always gives off great energy ... but for some reason, some of the fans didn't seem as enthusiastic. Most of the fans were on their feet, as usual, singing every word, pumping their fists and grooving to the show... but not up in the rafters for some reason... and at one point, Paul Stanley looked up and said to those fans, "...you have to believe in Rock and Roll enough to stand up for what you believe in... and not just sit there on your big fat butts... you're not at home watching Melrose Place..."
Very funny line, and so true. We're both looking forward to the next show we're hitting - this weekend, at Madison Square Garden - truly the home venue of KISS - and I am also looking forward to a crowd, that will match the band's energy in collectively bringing the roof down!
