Ok. I know. We went again,
Deano and I - but that is the kind of fan that he is of
Kiss, and the kind of fan that I have become, by tagging along with him all these years. The show rocks. Always. But as I predicted in my
last Kiss post, these guys were so much better at the Garden vs. the Sun, and they rocked the Garden so hard, and were so in to it - that it makes me want to _always see them at the Garden. As Paul Stanley said, "No matter where we may live now, New York is our home town." They proved it, tune after tune - from the first explosion to the finale, these guys were high energy - totally in to what they were doing - feeding off the crowd, and the crowd feeding off of them.
We had seats on the floor, just right of center (if you're facing the stage) about 15 rows back, and the crappy iPhone camera that I took these shots with - doesn't really do the view justice... you could see everything from there, and feel the heat off the fire jets as well. Spectacular.
I think that Deano, said it best, when he said, "...Kiss is so appreciative of the fans - when they say 'We couldn't be here without you, and owe it all to you...' they are sincere, they really mean it." I couldn't agree more - last Saturday night in the Garden you could feel the love, and the feelings were mutual.
